Most items in a non-AC unit will be protected for a short amount of time. Non-climate controlled storage units are not heated or cooled, so your belongings may be subject to fluctuating temperatures that vary as the outdoor temperatures do.
Climate Controlled Units
You may want to consider a climate controlled unit if you need the space for longer than 12 months or if you plan to store items that are particularly sensitive to changes in temperature.
